Head Teacher
Upper Grades

I have wanted to be a teacher since first grade and love my profession (most of the time)! My classroom experience ranges from lower elementary through adult education (even in the prisons!) and includes head teacher, substitute, aide, GED teacher, and ESL teacher and tutor. As the years creep by, I have been privileged to reap the intangible rewards of friendship with my students and their parents. I have watched my students take up the torch and make a difference. I am grateful to have been called to service!
My Mission is to empower students to have a better life in this world and the world to come.

Lower Grades Teacher

For the full length of my teaching time, I have been an advocate of the small school. I love the non-competitive, family atmosphere it provides. I believe in individualized education with a hands-on, practical approach that encourages children to reach their full potential in the spiritual, mental, social, and physical realms. In my years as a mother, elementary and early childhood teacher, I strove, and continue to strive, daily, to seek the wisdom of the Master Teacher in order to model my teaching after His example. After all, “children are a gift from the Lord,” (Psalm 127:3) and we should value them accordingly!

Teachers Aid

Working with children is a grand privilege! Their lively ways invigorate me, and I enjoy investing in each one, academically, emotionally, and spiritually. My degree in Elementary Education has spawned my experience in several areas: classroom teaching, individual and group tutoring, Spanish interpreting, teaching Spanish to adults and children, and homeschooling. I look forward to helping your child reach his/her highest potential and highest calling.
